Bilateral discussions are among the ways in which countries communicate with each other as we identify points of similarities, opportunities for collaboration and options for mutual assistance and information sharing.
I am now having bilateral discussions with Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley.
We have focused this discussion on security, both as individual countries and as a region.
Trinidad is fighting a similar battle with crime and violence as Jamaican, and we are both serious about creating peace for our people.
We are using this opportunity to discuss collaborative strategies to fight crime and foster peace.
