On Tuesday November 3, 2020, members of the National Identification and Registration Bill committee provided an update on the NIDS Bill.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness stated “I want to assure the people of Jamaica that the identification information they provide will be accorded the highest level of safety and security in accordance with international security standards for collecting, storing and securing critical information.”
