New Social Housing Programme Home Handover in St. Catherine Northwestern

Miss Forbes, a mother of eleven, children, six of whom currently live with her in St. Catherine Northwestern, which is represented by MP Hugh Graham, has faced unimaginable challenges.

She raised her children in a small room with limited resources, yet ensured they all attended school, even as she struggled to make ends meet by farming and braiding hair.

Thanks to a recommendation through the New Social Housing Programme (NSHP) and the support of her Member of Parliament, we were able to provide Miss Forbes and her family with a safe and comfortable home.

This is the heart of the NSHP, lifting families out of hardship and giving them a fresh start.
