NSHP Home Handover in North West Clarendon

On Friday, Leta officially received her home although she took refuge in it during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
But that’s not what this particular post is about.
Leta Williams of Lodgie Green in North West Clarendon, represented by MP, Phillip Henriques, received the key to her house for which she is deeply grateful and happy, but as she celebrates her new home, her mom who turns 90 soon, is in the hospital. It was truly a bitter-sweet day for her.
Leta looks after her mother and we pray she recovers quickly so that Leta can continue to lovingly care for her in a more comfortable environment.
Everyone who gets a house from the government has a story, and when I come to give you those keys, your stories touch my heart.
Moments like these when we can ease the burden of our brothers and sisters and rewrite their stories are what make it all worth it.
Let’s all wish Leta’s mom a speedy recovery and may they enjoy their new home with plenty of love and care.
