All non-essential government offices will close at 2 PM Friday, October 24, 2025. Essential services will remain operational and available to the public.

Based on the 5 AM bulletin from the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, Tropical Storm Melissa was stationary overnight. Nonetheless, a tropical storm warning has been maintained.
