Jamaica now has its own Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) Therapeutic Centre, the first of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean!

This milestone represents a significant step forward in our commitment to ensuring the well-being, protection and support of our nation’s most vulnerable children.

This opening would not have been possible without the generous support and partnership of the Basic Needs Trust Fund, administered by the Caribbean Development Bank and the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF). This Therapeutic Centre will serve as a haven where healing, growth, and transformation can occur. It will provide a nurturing environment where these children can find solace, receive the necessary therapies, and build resilience in the face of adversity.
