Groundbreaking Ceremony for Chantilly Gardens Housing Development in Westmoreland
On Friday, we officially broke ground on the Chantilly Gardens Housing Development in Westmoreland, one of several major housing solutions being delivered across the parish, as part of our government’s drive to expand home ownership for Jamaicans.
This development will bring 120 two-bedroom, one-bathroom homes under the Guaranteed Purchase Programme, through a partnership between the National Housing Trust (NHT) and Grange Solutions Limited.
Here in Westmoreland, over 6,400 housing solutions are either under construction or in advanced stages of planning. That includes:
☑️ Sheffield Palms, Savannah Park, and Shrewsbury 2 (to be completed by 2026)
☑️ Upcoming mega-developments at Negril Spot and Paradise Park, set to deliver over 4,000 homes by 2029
This is the result of thoughtful governance that puts people first, where every brick laid contributes to stronger families, safer communities, and a more prosperous Jamaica.
