New Benefits Under the National Insurance Scheme

Pensioners are set to receive further benefits under the National Insurance Scheme, NIS.
The Ministry of Labour says these increases will accompany those which already became effective on April 1.

Employment Injury Benefits have been increased from 3,200 dollars to 4,200 per week. The Funeral Grant has also been increased from 90,000 dollars to 150,000.

Prescription Drug coverage has been increased by 40%, while coverage for dental and optical services has been increased by 166%.
