Yesterday, we officially handed over ten new tipper trucks to the National Solid Waste Management Authority, strengthening Jamaica’s capacity to respond quickly and effectively to disasters.

These trucks will play a critical role in debris removal, waste management, and emergency operations in the immediate aftermath of natural events.

As a Government, we remain committed to building resilience, strengthening institutions, and ensuring that our disaster response systems are equipped to protect lives, livelihoods, and national infrastructure.
