Government Officially Launches The Rebuild Jamaica Initiative
Your government has acted quickly to help Jamaicans impacted by Hurricane Beryl to rebuild.
In just a few short weeks following the weather event, help is ready being delivered with cash grants being given to the first set of recipients today.
- Up to J$400,000 for Jamaicans with destroyed homes
- Up to J$150,000 for Jamaicans with severely damaged homes
- Up to J$50,000 for Jamaicans with homes with minor damage.
The government is proud to provide this support to the people of Jamaica to help rebuild following the passage of Hurricane Beryl through the REACH and REBUILD Programme.
The programme sets aside $1 billion for housing support to help those whose homes were damaged or destroyed.
We know our citizens will be responsible in the use of the funds for the purposes of home reconstruction.
For others in need, help is on the way!
