Jamaica has long enjoyed a strong and productive partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, working together to advance sustainable development, and improve opportunities for our people.

In keeping with this important relationship, I met with Alexander De Croo, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to discuss how we can continue building on this collaboration for the benefit of Jamaica.

Our discussions focused on supporting economic growth, strengthening climate resilience, and ensuring that our development efforts create lasting impact for communities across the island. I welcome the continued partnership with the UNDP as we work together to deliver meaningful and sustainable development for Jamaica.
