I joined fellow regional leaders at the Opening Ceremony of the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) as I conclude my tenure as Chair. Serving as Chairman has been a profound honour.

Throughout this period, we have worked together to strengthen regional cooperation, confront shared challenges, and advance policies aimed at improving the lives of our Caribbean people. As I hand over the chairmanship, I do so with confidence in the continued unity and resolve of our Community. The work of regional integration remains vital, and Jamaica will continue to play its full part in shaping a strong and resilient Caribbean.
