The Victoria Palms Development Relocation Project

The Victoria Palms Development Relocation Project aims to improve living conditions for the residents of Denham Town, Kingston, many of whom currently reside in unsustainable wooden structures without access to proper sanitary facilities or potable water.

This initiative, part of the New Social Housing Programme (HOPE) under “Modality Two – Relocation of Vulnerable Communities,” involves:
– Constructing three two-storey apartment blocks with a total of 12 two-bedroom units.
– Units equipped with kitchens, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and individual water and electricity meters.
– Use of reinforced concrete structures, with parking, recreational areas, and centralized waste management.
– Connection to the National Water Commission’s sewage system for proper wastewater management.
–
This project offers residents access to safe, modern housing solutions, formal utilities, and improved living standards in a secure and aesthetically pleasing environment.
